Q. How long is the School day?
A. A typical day is from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. It is similar to the public schools schedules and holidays.
Q. Are students able to return to a regular school program?
A. A multi-sensory approach is used with individualized, modified techniques. Our goal is to prepare students for re-entry into public education. For those who continue to require our enhanced program, added emphasis is placed on the development of life skills.
Q. How do you deal with children with behavioral difficulties?
A. Every class has a positive behavior management program for all students. If needed, the teacher evaluates a student's behavior and an individualized program is implemented.
Q. What are the credentials of the staff?
A. All teachers are certified by the state as "Teachers of the Handicapped." All therapists are licensed school clinicians.
